Gola Kabab
Ingredients:
– 1 kg finely ground beef mince
– 1 large onion (fried and crushed)
– 2 tbsp boiled and chopped onion
– 1 tsp papaya paste
– 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
– 1 tbsp chopped green chilies
– 1/4 bunch fresh coriander
– 1 tbsp crushed red chili
– Salt to taste
– 1 tbsp garam masala (includes garam masala, ground cardamom, nutmeg, and mace)
– 4 tbsp roasted gram flour
– 1 tbsp yogurt
– 3 tbsp Special BBQ Masala
Special BBQ Masala
Ingredients:
– 5-6 whole dried red chilies
– 2 tbsp roasted chickpeas
– 2 tbsp coriander seeds
– 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
– 2 star anise
– 1 medium bay leaf
– 2 tbsp poppy seeds
– 1 tbsp cumin seeds
Method:
1. Roast and grind Special BBQ Masala ingredients. Use 3 tbsp in the recipe.
2. Mix all ingredients into beef mince. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
3. Shape mixture into Gola Kababs.
4. Fry in 3-4 tbsp oil over low heat until golden brown on both sides. Turn carefully due to softness.
