Ingredients:
* Chicken: 1/2 kg
* Chana daal: 250 gm
* Tomatoes: 2 medium-sized
* Onion: 1 large
* Green chilies: 5-6
* Ginger-garlic paste: 1 1/2 tbsp
* Red chili powder: 2 tsp
* White cumin seeds: 1 tbsp
* Coriander seeds: 1 tbsp
* Garam masala: 1 tsp
* Turmeric powder : 1/2 tsp
* Salt: to taste
* Oil: 3 tbsp
* 3-4 green chilies
* Fresh coriander: for garnishing
Instructions:
1. Prepare Daal:
– Boil chana daal until half done. Set aside.
2. Roast Spices:
– Roast cumin and coriander seeds. Crush them into a powder.
3. Sauté Onions and Tomatoes:
– Chop onion and tomatoes together.
– Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion and tomatoes, and sauté well.
– Add ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, crushed spices, garam masala, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until fragrant.
4. Cook Chicken and Daal:
– Add chicken to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
– Add boiled daal and mix well. Cook on high flame for 5 minutes.
– Add half cup water and cook on low flame until chicken and daal are tender.
5. Final Touch:
– Blend green coriander and 3-4 green chilies into a paste. Add to the curry and cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes.
– Serve hot and enjoy!

– Adjust spice levels according to your taste.
– Garnish with fresh coriander for added flavor and presentation.
